Dr. Aditi Patankar, MBBS, MD (Medicine), DrNB (Clinical Immunology & Rheumatology), is a highly accomplished Consultant Rheumatologist at NextGen Arthritis and Rheumatology Clinic, Ahilyanagar. She is the first full-time National Board Certified Rheumatologist of Ahmednagar district. With an outstanding academic record, she secured All India Rank 7 in DrNB Rheumatology and has consistently ranked among the top in her medical training, including University Gold Medalist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and 3rd Rank in MUHS for Final MBBS.
Dr. Patankar has worked at some of India’s premier institutions such as Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (Sion Hospital) and P. D. Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Mumbai, where she gained extensive experience in managing complex autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. During her MD at Sion Hospital, she was honored with the prestigious Ramamoorthy Scholarship Award for Best Resident in the Department of Medicine, recognizing her exceptional clinical skills and dedication.
Her research contributions span multiple national and international publications in reputed journals, along with presentations at prestigious conferences like ACR (San Diego), EULAR (Vienna, Barcelona), and APLAR (Thailand). She has received multiple awards for her clinical excellence and research, including the IRA Travel Grant Award (APLAR 2023) and several Best Paper Awards at national rheumatology forums.
Dr. Patankar’s clinical interests include Vasculitis, Myositis, and Sjögren’s Syndrome, and she remains deeply committed to advancing evidence-based care for patients with autoimmune diseases. Known for her compassionate approach and patient-centered care, she combines cutting-edge medical knowledge with empathy and precision to deliver the best outcomes.
